  • Always do your homework before you sign with any landlord, check with existing tenants what the house and the landlord are like.Have there been any problems? If so, are they dealt with quickly and efficiently.
  • Is your Landlord accredited with Cheshire West and Chester Council?
  • Is you Landlord part of the Chester Student Stamp Scheme?
  • Would your landlord be an absent landlord, try ringing and ask him a question to see how easy it is to get hold of them.
  • Have you access to the Landlords office or home address or are they using a P.O. Box number? It is advisable that you have a contact address for them.
